Paralysed woman moves robot with her mind
What Sex Does to a Man’s Brain
What would you do with the ability to move things with your mind?
The list of five obstacles for achieving your goals is so apt. The one that spoke to me the most though is lack of action. Analysis-paralysis is something I encounter often. When something seems too big to accomplish, you often want to stop before you start. Reminding oneself that taking one step can start the journey to your goal can really help. We can all take one step. A much more manageable goal. But we have to remind ourselves of this and try to think of the journey as a series of steps. Just one step to get going. This is something I struggle with daily both in life and in practice of Budokon. I can take one step to improve my technique in a challenging movement. This I know. But often I immediately say I can’t do the whole challenging movement. Well that one step will help me eventually do that handstand. But first I will work on tightening my core. One step. Conquer the analysis paralysis. Achieve the goal. Osu.
Osu!!!
What sort of activity are you engaging in to help strengthen your core?
