I have been limiting my fruit inakte because I know the sugar content can be high, especially with ripe bananas. However, I chose to keep fruit in my diet because, as a vegetarian, fruit is where I get many of my key nutrients. From what I have read, cinnamon is known to help balance out sugary foods as far as blood sugar is concerned. Also, I don’t find fruit sugars to have as dramatic an effect on my blood sugar as refined. So, to answer, yes I am keeping track of the sugar content:)Do you have any recommendations or favorite fruits that might have a lower sugar content?
